Organised by Rangeela Bharat Welfare Society, Kenya

4th March, 2023

An evening worth remembering. Honoured to have been a part of Rangeela Bharat welfare society Nairobi, Kenya at their Sanskruti Sangam event. Multiple nationalities blending on a common platform celebrating art, culture, music. Colours, lovely dresses and beautiful smiles made for some wondrous captures ❤️Narrated the culture, tradition and the story behind the fashion of Kenya, Sri Lanka, Nepal and states of India.

When given the task of scripting and narration, one realises how little you know even about your own country! The intricacies of weaving, the stories depicted through beautiful rendition of art and history, the influence of Gods and Goddesses, Vedic culture, earliest civilisations…they all reflect in fashion. A reflection of our history and a showcase of talent, all intricately woven into a garment.

Here’s presenting the India Fashion Walk. A rich weaving of beautiful stories…

Share with me your travel stories, and your take on anything happy, sad, funny, or thought-provoking. Would love to hear from you 😊
